Bishop Peter Gatimu from the AFM church, Kenya, expressed how excited he is to be part of Teach Every Nation (TEN), and particularly Bible School on Wheels (BSOW). In a momentous gathering, 42 bishops from Rwanda, Tanzania, Burundi, the DRC, Kenya, and Uganda came together to undergo training led by Chaplain Hein. Their appreciation for having a TEN representative is unmistakable, recognizing the authenticity and added value it brings to their journey. This wave of momentum has sparked the interest of three pivotal organizations eager to embrace BSOW:
1. A Kenyan bishop, overseeing a network of over 1000 pastors across the nation, is integrating BSOW training into their 2024 plans.
2. In Burundi, a prominent bishop representing several fraternal churches in this French- speaking country is enthusiastic about organizing DEAN training for bishops from diverse denominations.
3. The General Secretary of the Evangelical Alliance of Rwanda is proposing to bring about 10 influential bishops to TEN campus SA.
Bishop Gatimu concluded by saying, “The reason for bringing AFM into BSOW, is because there are a number of pastors who are not really trained. Even for those trained, there’s a need for them to go through what BSOW offers because of its uniqueness and the value it adds to what they are doing. The material is relevant and reflects the mind of Christ.”
