Course teacher: Bishop Vincent Mathews, Jr.
BISHOP MATHEWS graduated from Wayne State University (B.A.), University of Illinois (M.A.) and North Carolina College of Theology (D.Th.). He was a Fulbright Fellow while studying African Language at The University of Dar Es Salaam (Tanzania). Vincent is the author of 6 books. He is happily married to Sharon Denise Mathews, and God has blessed them with 11 children. God called Vincent and Sharon to leave the “American Dream” to obtain a higher calling of being a full-time missionary team. Subsequently, along with their children, they moved to South Africa to serve as full-time COGIC missionaries in 2004, serving in numerous capacities. In 2015, Bishop Mathews was appointed by Chief Apostle and Presiding Bishop Charles Blake and the General Board as the President of the Church Of God In Christ World Missions.
