Sipoleng Immanuel, a Lecturer of Engineering at the Post-Graduate level, shares a powerful testimony of the transformative impact of “How to be an Effective Communicator”. His experience as an educator revealed that even seasoned industry professionals sometimes struggle to connect the dots when revisiting foundational concepts. Before the course, his students grappled with assignments, lacked confidence to ask questions, and couldn’t grasp the deeper understanding behind the principles.
However, after completing the course, Sipoleng shifted his approach. Instead of focusing solely on content delivery, he ignited his students’ passion for learning. The results were remarkable – assignments were submitted early, questions flowed freely, and students were brimming with
excitement for the subject matter. For the first time in years, his students expressed gratitude for reigniting their passion for learning. “This was an opportunity because it opened the door of trust. I saw my students not just as learners, but also as an opportunity to minister to them. To ask the same difficult questions about their lives and their condition before Christ…. I saw this as an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on their lives.
