“After years of going through the motions, this course breathed new life into my walk with God. I cried during Session Three when we talked about the hand of God—I realized I had been trying to do life in my own strength. Now, I start every day asking for His hand to guide me, and I’m experiencing a peace I thought was out of reach. This course is truly life-transforming.”

Nadine

“And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, ‘Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!’ So God granted him what he requested.”

This course has 8 impactful sessions!

Session One: Bless Me Indeed

This session introduces the prayer of Jabez by focusing on his bold request for God’s blessing. Despite a painful beginning—his name literally meaning “sorrow”—Jabez believed in God’s desire to bless His children and asked boldly for it. Women are encouraged to shift their perspective from feelings of unworthiness to faith in God’s generous nature. The session walks through biblical truths showing that God’s blessings flow from His character, not our performance. Participants learn how asking for God’s blessing is not selfish, but rather an act of trust that aligns with His will. Practical steps are provided to help women seek God’s blessing with confidence, recognize His work in their lives, and cultivate a deeper sense of gratitude and dependence on Him.

Session Two: Enlarge My Territory

In this session, the focus turns to Jabez’s request for enlarged territory. This isn’t just about land or possessions, but about asking God to increase our influence and responsibilities in ways that fulfill His purpose. Women are invited to consider what their current “territory” looks like—family, community, talents, and spiritual calling—and to dream bigger under God’s direction. The session emphasizes that territory expansion is not about striving harder, but about yielding to God’s opportunities. Through stories like Esther’s divine positioning and encouragements from Scripture, women are equipped to step out in faith, use their gifts creatively, and recognize open doors where God is already at work. This session challenges participants to live fruitfully and intentionally for the glory of God.

Session Three: Put Your Hand on Me

This session unpacks Jabez’s plea for God’s hand to be with him, symbolizing God’s power, guidance, and presence. It emphasizes that real success in life and ministry is only possible when we are dependent on God. The hand of God represents His supernatural help—something we need in trials, decisions, temptations, and ministry. Through examples from Scripture, women are reminded that God’s hand empowers ordinary people for extraordinary purposes. The session encourages participants to seek God’s hand continually, especially in weakness or uncertainty, and to rely on the Holy Spirit for strength and wisdom. Through prayer and surrender, women can experience peace, courage, and effectiveness that comes only from God’s abiding presence.

Session Four: Keep Me From Evil

The final session deals with Jabez’s prayer for protection from evil and from causing pain. It highlights the reality of spiritual warfare and the daily need for God’s protection over our hearts, minds, and relationships. Women are challenged to reflect on areas where sin or harmful patterns might be present, and to seek God’s grace to overcome them. The session teaches that resisting evil is not just about avoiding temptation, but about living a life that brings healing, not harm—to ourselves, others, and our relationship with God. It also emphasizes the power of prayer, Scripture, and the armor of God as tools for spiritual victory. By depending on God’s strength and remaining alert, women can walk in freedom, integrity, and joy, avoiding the snares of the enemy and becoming instruments of peace and hope in the world.
